Our mission
To find a cure for endometriosis.
That is the whole mission. Not better management, not more coping strategies, not a friendlier word for the pain. A cure, and an end to a disease that affects at least one in ten people born with a uterus.
We know what that costs. Research programmes run into the millions and cures take decades. So we are honest about the order of operations: awareness first, then community and education, then funding, then research at scale. Every milestone below is a step towards the last one.

Awareness
Reach over a million people
A million New Zealanders and beyond who understand what endometriosis actually is: not a bad period, not a low pain threshold, but a disease that fuses organs, ends careers and takes fertility. Awareness is the cheapest thing we can build and the foundation for everything after it.

Community
Free support groups, for sufferers and their people
Regional and online groups that cost nothing to attend, so that nobody sits with this alone. Separate spaces for the family members too: partners, parents, siblings and children who watch it happen and have nowhere to put it.

Diagnosis
Cut the time it takes to be diagnosed
The average wait in Aotearoa is 9.7 years. That is a decade of being told it is normal, anxiety, or something you will grow out of. We want that number in single-digit months, through earlier recognition, clearer referral pathways and non-invasive diagnostics.

Surgery
Cut the time it takes to get a laparoscopy
Excision surgery is often the only thing that gives someone their life back, and the public waitlist is measured in years. Access to it should not depend on whether you can pay privately. We will campaign, fund and publish until the wait is defensible.

Education
Educate GPs to recognise endometriosis
Most journeys start and stall in a ten-minute GP appointment. We will fund and deliver clinical education so that the right questions get asked the first time, and so that a patient in pain leaves with a pathway instead of a prescription.

Fertility
Fertility support and funding
Endometriosis takes fertility from people, and the treatments that might preserve it are expensive and rationed. We will fund fertility support for people who cannot pay for it, and stand alongside them through the part nobody sees.

Research
Research into medicine and treatment
Current treatment is hormonal suppression and repeat surgery. Neither ends the disease. We will fund research into treatment that actually alters its course, and publish what we fund and what it finds.

This is the reason wander exists. Not management. Not coping. A cure. It will take millions, decades and a community that refuses to get quiet. We are starting anyway, and we are keeping the receipts.
